Conference Venue

The XXXVI International School of Hydraulics will take place at the Windsor Palace hotel. Surrounded by forest complexes, the hotel is situated in Jachranka village on the very shore of Zegrze Reservoir, about 35 km from the center of WARSAW.

Meeting Point

Meeting point will be between 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning (23.05.2017).
We will meet you in front of the Institute of Geophysics Polish Academy of Sciences

How to get to the Institute (Meeting point):
From Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport:

  • By TAXI:
    Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport recommends the services of three taxi corporations, namely:
    - ELE SKY TAXI, phone: +48 22 811 11 11, www.eletaxi.pl
    - SUPER TAXI, phone: +48 22 578 98 00, www.supertaxi.pl
    - SAWA TAXI, phone: +48 22 644 44 44, www.sawataxi.com.pl
    For safety reasons we strongly advise you to use licensed taxi services offered at Chopin Airport. Taxi tariffs should be clearly displayed in the car window.
    The taxi fare from the airport to the city centre is approx. 50 PLN/10 EUR.

  • Using public transport (WARSZAWA LOTNISKO CHOPINA -> KOŁO):
    - Take a Train SKM S2 (direction: "SULEJÓWEK MIŁOSNA"),
    - get off after 5 stops (4 min) on station: "W-wa OCHOTA",
    - change to tram number: 24 (direction: "NOWE BEMOWO") on tram station "PLAC ZAWISZY 14",
    - get off after 13 stops (19 min) on tram stop "KOŁO 02"
From the railway Central station in Warsaw (DW. CENTRALNY -> KOŁO):
  • tram stop: DW. CENTRALNY 08
    take the tram 24 direction NOWE BEMOWO get off after 16 stops (25 min) on tram stop "KOŁO 02"
