Instructions for Authors

Call for Papers

Participants are invited to submit papers in English on all aspects of hydraulics with a special emphasis on Experimental and computational solutions of hydraulic problems.

The full-paper manuscripts should be sent to ISH secretariat before 29th February 2012 electronically.

All the papers will be published in the SPRINGER monographic series: "GeoPlanet: Earth and Planetary Sciences". The maximum length of a paper is 12 pages. This length should allow the authors to provide comprehensive details of their work. All the contributions will be reviewed by Scientific Committee and the authors will be informed of paper acceptance by the 30th March 2012.

The conference and publication language is English and the authors have to make sure that the paper has been written in good English. No translation facilities will be provided during the event.

All full-paper manuscripts should be prepared according to the Instructions.

Authors Guide - Manuscript Preparation in Word

A document template has been prepared by Springer for use with Word 2003 and higher. Predefined style formats are available for all the types of content that are part of the manuscript, and these formats can be easily accessed via hotkeys or special toolbars.

Papers which will be prepared not according to the instruction will not be accepted for publication.

You will need to submit both:

  1. the source file of the document (*.doc or *.tex)
  2. the final file in PDF or PostScript format (*.pdf, *.ps)
